The Effect of Cold Stream of Vortex Tube on Efficiency of the Vapor Compression Refrigeration System
The reason of energy shortage in our country, where is dependent as far as the energy is concerned to the others, is either the lack of production, or the factors such as the lack of natural gas. The careless use of produced and wasted energy is among the major reasons. For that reason, solutions have been searching for, in order to ensure the needed energy on time adequately, reliably and the studies have been carried on energy saving. One of the most effective ways of providing energy-saving is the improvements which have been done on system efficiencies. Therefore in this study, changes on cooling efficiency vapor-compression refrigeration system when integrated with the vortex tube (cold output flow) and has been examined in terms of thermodynamics. Design parameters of cooling system are based on cold storage temperatures of vegetables such as tomatoes, peppers and aubergine. Cooling efficiency, evaporation temperature and condenser temperature have been determined for integrated system. The thermodynamic properties which as a result of the experiments with were used for investigate the thermodynamic properties of the vapor compression refrigeration system when integrated with cold stream of the vortex tube.
