Final thesis consists of parts: legal regulations; architectural part; structural part; research work; construction technology; economical part; workplace safety. Project in this final thesis is based on various regulations which are described in the construction law. Architecture design of a building is described in the architectural part. Thermal resistance is calculated and verified whether it‘s within the mark. Supporting structures such as column and truss are calculated and designed in the structural part. Differences between STR 2.05.08:2005 – technical construction regulations of steel structures and EN 1993-1-1 Eurocode 3 are analysed in the research work. Other parts include: installation technology of steel truss; selection of construction machinery; economical comparison between steel and wooden truss; directives on safety at work.
