Ausgehend von den ArchitekturTheorieTagen 2017 widmet sich das Buch einem der Grundthemen der Architekturdisziplin: die Produktive Theorie. Die komplexen Relationen von Theorie und Praxis, von Denken und Handeln in der Architektur sind damit ebenso gemeint wie die Relationen und das Zusammenspiel von Büroarchitekt:innen mit akademischen Architekt:innen und der Theorie. Präsentiert werden einzelne Positionen sowie die Diskussion der Auftaktveranstaltung, im Rahmen derer sich Vertreter:innen deutschsprachiger Architekturtheorielehrstühle und eingeladene Architekturbüros des BDA Niedersachsen mit dem komplexen Theorie-Praxis-Verhältnis auseinandersetzten. ; Based on the ArchitekturTheorieTage 2017, the book is dedicated to one of the fundamental themes of the architectural discipline: productive theory. The complex relations of theory and practice, of thinking and acting in architecture are meant as well as the relations and the interaction of office architects with academic architects and theory. Presented are individual positions as well as the discussion of the opening event, in which representatives of German-speaking architecture theory chairs and invited architectural offices of the BDA Lower Saxony dealt with the complex relationship of theory and practice.
