The final Master's thesis analyzes the peculiarities of the calculation of the fire resistance of the steel roof truss of the existing one-storey storage building (which is in reconstruction progress) in accordance with the provisions of legal documents and research on the topic of the Master's thesis. Analytical and numerical investigation of the fire resistance of a steel truss were performed based on the nominal temperature and time curves and the advanced fire model as well as the rate of temperature increasement in the fire compartment was determined based on the advanced fire model. After the investigation, the results were examined and the conclusions of the Master's thesis were formed.
