Documentation and Information Centre for Disaster Mitigation is a title that is motivated by so much potential disaster that struck the city of padang, However, information provided to the public is still lacking, be it training, counseling and knowledge. So.it takes a disaster information centre in the city field to reduce casualities resulting from the impact of the disaster, and the building also has a place / facility that provides a documentation of the events that have occurred specifically sumatera west, a gallery, a library, and specificaly about the disaster while the museum is more about recreation on the location of the coastal region of Padang, which is a tourist destination and urban community surrounding desert cities so that in addition to recreational beach vistors can also travel education ( specifically on disaster mitigation) and also provide shelter facilities, education, and recreation together and complement each other.
