The location of Indonesia, which is between four systems located in an active tectonic zone, causes Indonesia to have a fairly high level of risk of earthquake vibrations. In the event of an earthquake, buildings may suffer damage to non-structural components and structural components, but building occupants can save themselves. Therefore, residential buildings need to be planned to have earthquake resistance. The design of earthquake-resistant buildings is generally based on an elastic analysis that is given a load factor for simulating the ultimate condition (boundary). In fact, the collapse behavior of the building structure during an earthquake is under inelastic conditions. The full ductility can be an alternative in the design of earthquake-resistant structures. The purpose of this study is to understand the design of earthquake-resistant 12-storey residential buildings using (SRPMK) which is a structural system with high ductile factors. From the planning results, the dimensions and reinforcement of the structure are more efficient and simple.
