Peningkatan Kapasitas Penggunaan Epicollect dalam Pelaksanaan Surveilans Perilaku Merokok Masyarakat Kabupaten Klungkung
Background: Empowerment related to the role of cadres of the Gerakan Bersama Remaja Anti Rokok (GEBRAK) has not been optimal in efforts to record health data, especially for surveillance of smoking behavior in the Klungkung Regency. On the other hand, the surveilans is very important to do to formulate strategies and policies related to efforts to prevent, control and overcome health problems related to the dangers of smoking.Objective: The Capacity Building activity was carried out to increase the capacity of cadres in using a digital-based surveillance system when recording using the Epicollect application.Methods: Preparation of instruments in digital applications, preparation of application usage modules and implementation of Capacity Building carried out in the form of training for cadres.Results: The average knowledge score of participants before participating in Capacity Building was 4.78 and increased after participating in Capacity Building to 8.40. It was found that there was a significant difference in the average knowledge score (mean difference = 3.62; p = 0.0001). In addition, 97% of the data that enters the server is in accordance with the provisions discussed in the training provided.Conclusion: Increased knowledge and success in recording data sent to the server is an indication that Capacity Building is related to the use of Epicollect in GEBRAK cadres to assist the Klungkung District Health Office in building an integrated online recording system.
