Architecture: guides to mainstreaming gender in university teaching
In the world of Architecture there is a need to value diversity in a broad sense: by highlighting the work done by female architects; by designing and planning spaces that respond to the needs of different sex, identity, generation, abilities and resources; by highlighting the different ways of practicing the profession, traditionally considered "minors" (such as exhibition curators or landscaping); and in promoting women as promoters, builders, and users. The Guide of Architecture to mainstreaming gender in university teaching offers proposals, examples of good practices, teaching resources and consultation tools that enrich the story built around the discipline and reflect on sexism in teaching and research, as well as in professional practice. ; This project has been co-financed by the Ministry of Business and Knowledge of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
