Technology and automation systems are important aspects of human life, with the development of technology and automation systems, human life will become easier and faster. Today's technology and automation systems are also very influential in the aspect of the industrial world, with increasingly sophisticated technology and automation systems, the industry will be fast in processing a product. Along with the current development of technology and automation systems, automatic filling of water bottles is very much needed, especially in the world of beverage product industry. But the fact is that we often find bottle filling in the beverage product industry that still uses human power so it takes a relatively longer time. With this automatic bottle filling device, it can make it easier for humans to fill bottles without the need to spend a lot of energy and time. For this reason, the authors found the idea to make a PLC-based automatic bottle filling device as a system controller equipped with a conveyor that functions to carry bottles for filling water, a water pump to pump water out of the tank into the bottle, a relay module as a switching activating AC or DC voltage output, using a proximity sensor to detect the presence of a bottle with a volume of 300 mL to activate the pump. This tool performs automatic filling based on ladder program made on the PLC, by running ladder program on the PLC the system will turn on the conveyor, then the bottle is brought to the proximity sensor, the sensor will detect the presence of a bottle and the system will turn off the conveyor and the pump starts filling the bottle with water based on with the time that has been made on ladder program. The time used when filling is 5.5 seconds and the volume of water filled is 297 mL.
