Protection and sustainability of nature resources is one of the most important issues to date. The unsustainable use of nature resources the constantly growing population of humanity has some affects on our daily lives: the economy, GDP, food and water resources, a safe and high-quality lifestyle, and job creation. After getting acquainted with the main problems of ecology and natural resources and the legislation that regulates the solutions to these problems, we can say that one of the main things that promotes the solution to these problems is attracting investment to the companies and projects that contribute to the conservation of natural resources. Such investments are called sustainable and safe investments. Objectives of the study: to compare the performance of UAGDPB ,,Aviva Lietuva‘‘ over the last 5 years and identify the company's sustainability strategies; To evaluate the aspects of the use and application of sustainability and sustainable investments in UAGDPB ,,Aviva Lietuva‘‘. Research methods: analysis of scientific literature and analysis of documents using qualitative and quantitative content analysis and interview. The study found that UAGDPB ,,Aviva Lietuva‘‘ takes sustainability issues into account in its investment activities using the negative selection method, integrates sustainability issues into its social responsibility activities and plans to contribute to zero CO2 emissions in the final restructuring of the entire investment portfolio.
