Object of territory planning: theoretical conception
The paper presents a wider overview of the territory (i e the object of territory planning) as a uniform whole the structure and condition of which depends on the course and consequences of self-sustaining processes. It also deals with the issue of society’s ability to influence these processes as well as territory development and condition. It gives an analysis of territory structure and projections of self-sustaining natural and social processes. Theoretical statements are illustrated by investigation results. Teritorijų planavimo objektas – teorinė samprata Santrauka Analizuojama planavimo ir kraštotvarkos objekto samprata. Bandoma plačiau pažvelgti į teritoriją (planavimo veiklos objektą) kaip visumą, kurios raida ir būklė priklauso nuo savaiminių procesų eigos ir pasekmių, į visuomenės galimybes daryti įtaką šiems procesams ir teritorijos raidai, taip pat ir jos būklei. Analizuojama teritorijos sandara, savaiminių gamtinių ir socialinių procesų projekcijos. Teoriniai teiginiai iliustruojami tyrimų rezultatais.
