He teaches Practice of Urban Technologies and Planning at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT, Boston, USA) and Strategic vision for the building engineering of the future at the Politecnico di Milano. He is director of the Senseable City Lab at MIT and founding partner of the architecture firm CRA-Carlo Ratti Associates (Turin, New York and London).
