PENGARUH AIR LAUT SEBAGAI AIR PENCAMPUR DAN PERAWATAN TERHADAP KUAT TEKAN DAN POROSITAS BETON YANG MENGGUNAKAN FLY ASH SEBAGAI PENGGANTI SEBAGIAN SEMEN
This study investigated the effect of sea water as mixing water and treatment toward compressive strength and porosityof concrete containing fly ash 20% as cement partial replacement. A number of concrete cylinder (BTT, BTL, BLT andBLL) measuring 10x20 cm were tested compressive strength and porosity at 28 and 90 days. The results showed anincrease of concrete compressive strength followed by decrease concrete porosity along with the increase of concreteage. The increase percentage of BLT and BLL concrete compressive strength against BTT as references concrete at age28 day were 6.1% and 22.6%, respectively. Then at the age of 90 days the increase percentage were 11.7% and 28.4%respectively. Furthermore, the porosity of concrete decreased with the increasing of concrete age. The decreasepercentage of concrete porosity with specimen (BLL) and (BLT) to reference specimen (BTT) at 90 days age were6.76% and 4.82%, respectively.
