In Deutschland hat sich ab 1945 parallel zu den sich stetig wandelnden Hintergrundswerten eine diesen Wandel abbildende, vielfältige Bäder-Welt entwickelt. Die Promotionsarbeit basiert auf der Notwendigkeit einer Typen-Bildung für diese öffentlichen Schiwmmbadbauten. Für eine eindeutige und entwicklungsfähige Unterscheidung und Bezeichnung von Badtypen werden Parameter für eine Untersuchungsmethode bestimmt. Auf dieser Basis wird ein Punkte- und Bewertungssystem für alle Attraktionselemente verschiedenster Bäderarten entwickelt, welches eine Einordnung aller Bäder in bestimmte Typen ermöglicht. ; In Germany there was parallel to the transformation of the values in the society since 1945 a diverse development in public bath buildings (spa buildings). The thesis is based on the necessity of defining building types for these public baths. For a clear differentiation of bath types a number of parameters for an investigation method have to be found. Based on this method a system for valuating all elements of attraction of different baths was developed. By means of this method a classification of all kinds of baths in certain types is possible.
