Construction Supply Chain Management in an Integrated Way: By Managing Relationship between Supply Chain Players
Construction industry is one of the major industries in India because of its contribution of 19% in Indian economical growth. It includes lots of material for it processes. Material plays a major role in construction industry where it consumes 60−70% of project cost. Where, it has a long run to get a product and construction materials are get from several networks, where it’s majorly from local industries. Several members are involved in construction material manufacturing and supply. For proper supply of material, it requires a good relationship with stakeholders in supply chain. This study includes the study of relationship between supply chain members in construction industry. This survey is based on the factors affecting the relationship. Eight factors are taken into consideration and explained in detailed manner. The questionnaires are made and analyzed based on five-point liker scale. Based on the results suggestions are made.
