SDGs in action - Sichtweisen von Generationen / SDGs in action - a generations' view
The atlas “SDGs in action - a generations' view” is designed as bilingual book atlas. From our perspective the views on SDG coming from various generations and expressed as maps are a valuable documentation how we experience today´s problems. The ICA commission on map production and geoinformation management, together with the research group of cartography of the Vienna University of Technology and some schools, have started an initiative to collect the generation´s view on SDG and its expression with maps. The aim is a continuous edited book atlas in print and digital form, which illustrates the range of perspectives on the SDGs and their motivations for establishing a sustainable world. Der Atlas „SDGs in action – a generations' view“ ist als zweisprachiger Buchatlas konzipiert. Aus unserer Sicht sind die Ansichten zu den SDG, die von verschiedenen Generationen stammen und in Karten ausgedrückt werden, eine wertvolle Dokumentation, wie wir die heutigen Probleme erleben. Die ICA-Kommission für Kartenproduktion und Geoinformationsmanagement hat zusammen mit der Forschungsgruppe Kartographie der TU Wien und einigen Schulen eine Initiative gestartet, um die Sicht der Generationen zu SDGs und deren Ausdruck mit Karten zu sammeln. Ziel ist ein fortlaufender Buchatlas in gedruckter und digitaler Form, der die unterschiedlichen Perspektiven auf die SDGs und deren Motivationen für die Etablierung einer nachhaltigen Welt aufzeigt. ; The book atlas is bilingual: German and English.
