SIKAP SOPAN SANTUN REMAJA PEDESAAN DAN PERKOTAAN DI MADIUN
AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan sikap sopan santun remaja pedesaan dan perkotaan. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuantitatif dengan metode komparatif yakni membandingkan dua kelompok. Pengumpulan data mengunakan angket dan observasi. Angket digunakan untuk mengukur sikap yang sebelumnya telah divaliditaskan dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji t. Observasi digunakan untuk mengetahui sikap serta perilaku remaja dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Hasil analisis data dari 29 remaja pedesaan dan 27 remaja perkotaan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara sikap sopan santun remaja pedesaan dan perkotaan sebagaimana hasil perhitungan yang menyatakan t hitung > t tabel (9,10 > 2,00). Hal tersebut didukung oleh hasil observasi, bahwa remaja di pedesaan lebih ramah, berpakaian sopan serta menghormati yang lebih tua ketika bergaul. Berbeda dengan remaja di perkotaan yang cenderung acuh, serta tidak memiliki perbedaan ketika berbicara dengan orang yang lebih tua maupun teman sebaya.Kata Kunci: sikap sopan santun, remaja, pedesaan dan perkotaan.AbstractThe globalization has positive and negative impact to character forming of young generation. The characteristic of globalization as urban people lifestyle because they are fleksible to receive more of information. The reason became the urban people fleksible to receive culture of others nation because it has different culture of Indonesia. It is contrast with lifestyle of villagers. They are unity and selective to receiving of information. The result make young generation of Indonesia leave the traditional values they leave politness. The purpose of this research to compare about politness of rural and urban adolescent.The approach of this research used quantitative and the method used comparative to compare of two group. The data is collected with questionaire and observation. The questionaire has been validited to measure about attitude and t test used to analisys the data. Observatoin used to know about attitude of teenegers in their life. The analisys result of 29 rural adolescent and 27 urban adolescent showed that it has politness significant difference of rural and urban adolescent because t test > t table (9,10>2,00). The result is supported by observation that rural adolescent more friendly,well in fashion, good adaptation and polite to older people. It’s different with urban adolescent not respect and nothing different interaction with older people or peers.Keywords: politness, rural and urban adolescent.
