PART II presents an overview of input-output modeling. It describes basic concepts, and how the model is used to analyze economic effects, presents a brief description of the model developed for Jackson and Josephine Counties, Oregon, and the results of preliminary analysis of activities associated with the Hellgate Recreation Management Plan, including the development of response coefficients showing the relationships between visitor use and jobs and income. PART III presents examples of selected management scenarios (including the current direction/no action alternative), associated visitor use projections, and the effects of the examples of selected management scenarios" P.
