Britpave member Morgan Sindall Infrastructure have facilitated an innovative trial to prove the concept of using graphene-enhanced concrete in a live infrastructure project to reduce the CO2 emissions associated with construction activity. The trial is the culmination of an 18th-month collaborative project which was supported in Innovate UK, the UK’s national innovation agency. It was a team effort involving a range of partners including First Graphene Ltd, Breedon Cement Ltd and the University of Manchester.
