SIGNIFICANCE OF AGGREGATES IN CONCRETE, ADVANTAGES OF ARTIFICIAL AGGREGATES FOR CONCRETE
The possibility of obtaining high-quality concrete with high physical and mechanical properties based on local clay raw materials and industrial waste from the Tashkent industrial region depending on the aggregates has been established. The main difference between lightweight concrete and its “extra” heavy concrete is increased porosity, improved heat-saving, noise-absorbing characteristics and lower weight of ready-made concrete structures. It is due to their low weight that light concretes are actively used as wall materials in high-rise monolithic construction.
