Project of central station in Podgorica ; Projekt centralne postaje v Podgorici
This Masterʼs Dissertation proffered the idea of designing a central station in Podgorica. The idea was to create a facility that would be functional, connect urban sectors and become a landmark of the city. Podgorica is a rapidly developing city and it needs a modern central station which would integrate bus and rail stations, provide faster and safer connection, together with additional content. In the latter regard there would be a complex incorporating an administrative block, a spa hotel with restaurant, a conference centre and a shopping area. The building would have free form with transparency regarding public spaces. The aim would be that the passengers would have control over the trains and buses in arrivals and departures. The base of the skyscraper would be an ellipse that rotate and thereby would have an interesting elegant form that would dominate the city. ; Magistrska naloga ponuja idejno zasnovo za centralno postajo v Podgorici. Ustvariti želimo objekt, ki bo predstavljal mejnik v mestu, hkrati pa bo tudi funkcionalen in povezan z urbano strukturo. Podgorica je namreč mesto, ki se hitro razvija, zato potrebuje sodobno centralno postajo, ki bo vključevala tako avtobusno kot železniško postajo in s tem zagotovila hitrejšo in varnejšo povezavo. Kot dodatek bi dodali še administrativni blok, spa hotel z restavracijo, konferenčni center in nakupovalno središče. Stavbo bi zasnovali v amorfni obliki z izrazito transparentnostjo javnih prostorov, saj je naš cilj, da bi potniki imeli nadzor nad vlaki in avtobusi, ki prihajajo in odhajajo. Poleg tega bi bil tloris nebotičnika v obliki elipse, ki rotira in s tem lahko postane zanimiva elegantna oblika, ki dominira nad mestom.
