Serviceability Analysis of Reinforced Lightweight Concrete Elements ; Armuoto lengvojo betono elementų tinkamumo būvio analizė
In this Master Thesis the serviceability analysis of reinforced lightweight concrete members was performed. Overview of design code recommendations for serviceability analysis of lightweight reinforced concrete members has been done. Analysis of constitutive tension-stiffening models for LWC members developed at VGTU was carried out. The proposed models were applied in layered technique for deformational analysis of flexural and tensile members. For cracking analysis the average crack spacing model proposed by Kaklauskas was used. Integrating this model in Eurocode technique the crack widths for both flexural and tensile members were calculated. To check the adequacy of the suggested models, theoretical predictions are checked against the test results of LWC elements reported in the literature. The comparative analysis reveals good accuracy of the analysed constitutive models and analysis techniques developed at VGTU.
