This work examines the revitalization of the Kaunas Lagoon Regional Park, aiming to harmonize natural and architectural resources. The focus is on three main aspects of park renewal: Firstly, it is planned to tidy up the existing inlets of the Kaunas Lagoon, facilitating the mooring of boats and the disembarking of water tourists, by adapting the infrastructure of inlets for convenient use; Secondly, there is an ambition to enrich the water infrastructure by introducing a separate architectural unit on the water - floating shelters (resting places). These places will not only provide visitors with a unique rest experience but will also symbolize the history of the lagoon, reminding of flooded villages and homesteads; The third part involves the reconstruction of the Kaunas “Žalgiris“ and “TBSA“ yacht clubs, aiming to improve leisure infrastructure, while simultaneously taking into account the preservation of existing architecture as a part of the local identity. These three parts form an integral whole, aiming to revitalize the Kaunas Lagoon Regional Park, making it more attractive to visitors, and better utilizing natural and architectural resources.
