Biosfärområdeskonceptet och dess tillämpning i Sverige ; The concept of biosphere reserves and its enforcement in Sweden
Biosfärområden är modellområden för hur en hållbar utveckling kan gå till. De utgår ifrån de tre funktionerna bevara, utveckla och stödja. Syftet med biosfärområden är att finna metoder för hur vi kan gå en hållbar framtid till mötes genom att kombinera de ekologiska, sociala och ekonomiska aspekterna av utveckling. Målen med denna uppsats är att dokumentera de syften och funktioner biosfärområden har och studera tillämpningen av dessa genom exemplet Biosfärområde Kristianstads Vattenrike. Frågor kring biosfärområdeskonceptets funktioner och syften lyfts särskilt. Detta syftar till att nå en förståelse för vad ett biosfärområde är och varför de behövs. Den framträdande metoden för denna uppsats har varit dokumentstudier. Utifrån vad som framkommit av dessa studier har en diskussion förts kring biosfärområdeskonceptets tillämpning i exempelområdet Kristianstads Vattenrike. Konceptet för biosfärområden skiljer sig från naturskyddsområden då det inte bara syftar till att bevara natur- och kulturvärden, utan även bruka dessa, dock på ett långsiktigt hållbart sätt. ; Biosphere reserves are model areas for how a sustainable development can be done. They are based on the three functions conservation, development and support. The purpose of biosphere reserves is to find methods ways how we can go a sustainable future ahead by combining the ecological, social and economic aspects of development. The objectives of this essay are to document the purposes and functions of biosphere reserves and to study the application of these through the example Biosphere reserve Kristianstads Vattenrike. Questions about the biosphere reserve concept, functions and purposes highlighted in particular. This aims to reach an understanding of what a biosphere reserve is and why they are needed. The prominent method of this essay has been document studies. Based on the findings of these studies, a discussion about the application of the biosphere reserveconcept in the example Kristianstads Vattenrike has been held. The concept of biosphere reserves is different from nature reserves, as it not only aims to conserve natural and cultural values, but also to use these in a long-term sustainable way.
