A 13.66/2:L 39x ; 106 ; Includes maps (some col.).; Includes bibliographical references. ; "The Lawson Creek Watershed Analysis, Version 2.0, was initiated to obtain and document information on the aquatic, terrestrial and social resources of the watershed. Version 1.0 was completed in May, 1995 and was used to initiate road treatment projects that would benefit aquatic and riparian resources. The information gathered and analyzed in Version 2.0 will be used to guide future resource management. It will also be used to ensure Aquatic Conservation Strategy Objectives and other Standards and Guidelines contained in the Record of Decision for Amendments to Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management Planning Documents Within the Range of the Northern Spotted Owl (ROD, 1994) will be met . The watershed analysis has the following components: the aquatic ecosystem, the riparian ecosystem, the terrestrial ecosystem, and the social aspects of the watershed . Lawson Creek is an important tributary to the lower Illinois River. It flows into the Illinois River 3.5 river miles above the confluence of the Rogue and Illinois Rivers at the community of Agness. Agness is about 30 miles east of the Pacific Ocean. The Lawson Creek watershed is located in Curry County and is about 25,241 acres" P. i [6].
