Betono susitraukimą mažinančių įmaišų tyrimai ; Investigation of concrete shrinkage reducing admixtures
Nowadays, wide concrete surfaces with wide open surfaces are especially popular in the concrete industry: thin-walled structures, monolithic elements of bridges or seamless floors. During the hardening of the concrete mix, a cement stone is formed and shrinkage deformations occur, which lead to various undesirable formations – cracks and fissures. One way to avoid these undesirable consequences is to use shrinkage reducing admixtures. Master‘s final project aim is to investigate the efficiency of different admixtures and their combinations while observing the influence on the shrinkage deformations in concrete mixtures as well as it’s mechanical properties. Master‘s final project consists of three parts. The first part provides a review of the literature that reviews similar studies by other researchers. The second part describes the theoretical part of the study, which lists the standarts and materials used in research, the design process of the concrete mixture composition, the experimental research methods and the calculation of the CO2 footprint of concrete. The third part presents the results of experimental studies.
