The Transformative Technologies in Architectural Design: Revolutionizing the Built Environment
This study will explore how emerging design technologies in contemporary architecture might reshape the physical forms through the impact of transformative technologies on architectural design and their potential to revolutionize the built environment (Hajirasouli et al., 2022). This research aims to open up new prospects for improving design efficiency between clients, designers, and society at large and provide insights into the transformative power of technology in shaping the future of architectural design (Akin et al., 2021). Advanced 3D modeling and simulation tools have revolutionized the design process, allowing architects to create virtual representations of their ideas and explore them in a highly realistic manner (Tuzun & Yan, 2022). Parametric design, another transformative technology, allows architects to create complex and dynamic architectural forms that were previously challenging to achieve (Canadinc & Yan, 2022). Augmented reality (AR) has emerged as a transformative technology that enhances the user experience and improves design communication (Shaghaghian et al., 2021). Through examining case studies and industry trends, this research aims to shed light on the transformative power of these technologies in architectural design. In conclusion, transformative technologies have revolutionized architectural design by enabling architects to push the boundaries of creativity, optimize building performance, and enhance user experiences (Maksoud et al., 2023). Advanced 3D modeling, simulation tools, parametric design, and augmented reality offer architect’s new avenues for exploration and innovation. By embracing these technologies, architects can shape the future of the built environment, researching to create sustainable, efficient, and engaging spaces for generations to come.
