KAJIAN KONSEP ARSITEKTUR ORGANIK PADA BANGUNAN FASILITAS KESEHATAN PRENTICE WOMEN`S HOSPITAL
Organic architecture is one of the architectural concepts that has an architectural design approach in applying part or all of the building design with the basic concept derived from natural forms or principles or with the surrounding footprint, visually organic architecture can represent natural forms that are not straight, radical and special. Organic architecture also pays attention to the harmonization of the building to the site and the surrounding environment. Frank Lloyd Wright is one of the originators who introduced the concept of organic architecture with one of his famous designs, namely The Kaufman House in Pennsylvania or can be called The Falling Water. A residential building built on a waterfall with the basic concept of organic architecture. A health facility building is a building that emphasizes nature as a way to assist in healing and maximum utilization of space. The application of the concept of organic architecture in health facilities can show the harmony between the health building and nature without destroying the function of the building it self.
