Aplinkai draugiškų statybinių medžiagų iš atsinaujinančių žaliavų panaudojimo galimybės ; Possibilities to use environmentally friendly building materials from renewable raw materials
Environmentally friendly construction is gaining popularity in the world - it is a set of methods of building and engineering structures that are as compatible as possible with nature and the social environment. In the face of the environmental problems associated with atmospheric change, alternative building materials are being developed which require low energy consumption. Agricultural production includes by-products, non-food raw materials that could be used to make building materials. Such materials include straw, waste from the processing of hemp grown for fiber. Straw provides good insulation against heat and sound. In Lithuania recently legalized fiber hemp and waste from its processing could be used as a filler for the production of thermal insulation concrete. The article reviews the possibilities of using straw and fibrous hemp processing waste (from renewable materials) in the production of building materials and their compliance with the essential requirements of the building. The tests determined the compressive strength of cannabis concrete and investigated its thermal properties.
