Nowadays nothing could be excluded from beauty if the beauty lives the nature- city times. We would illustrate as in “Modern-postmodern” age the nature-city, which shows herself through fragments in architecture, expresses herself as a space-limit of threshold, through which differences between city and nature pass. Starting from this assumption we will show that there are many elements, external to the beauty, which define the same beautiful. Beyond this, in the case of architecture, the other fundamental element is “the past that does not pass” ever so completely. And so, in this field, ideas about beauty could be attributed to two fundamental matrices: the first one begins with the beauty of Venus, the Venustas, and is based on ideas of order, measure, rule, clearness and consistency between the parts of a whole; the second one is born from the idea of beauty as phenomenic brightness.
