A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
San Francesco della Vigna a Venezia. Tecniche di rilievo per la valorizzazione e il monitoraggio dei beni architettonici. = San Francesco della Vigna in Venice. Survey Techniques for the Valorisation and Monitoring of Architectural Heritage.
The contribution focuses on the different technologies and tools necessary for effective surveying, docu-mentation, safeguarding, valorization and intervention on the historical-architectural heritage in Venice. Starting from the case study of the Palladian facade of San Francesco della Vigna, multiple surveying techniques, terrestrial and aerial, were experimented, in order then to proceed to the genesis of specific graphic deliverables and, above all, to the modeling of a digital twin useful for any more in-depth static and dynamic analyses (FEM model). The collaboration between the Forti architecture firm and Iuav University of Venice testifies to the deep synergy between multiple knowledge and skills, with the common goal of protecting and conserving monumental assets through targeted and informed monitoring and intervention.
