Dugno pelenų panaudojimas armuoto betono konstrukcijoms ; Application of bottom ash for reinforced concrete structures
The master thesis deals with the possibility of disposal of municipal waste incineration bottom ash by partially substituting one of the parts of the concrete mix – sand. In order to achieve set goals all topics related to bottom ash properties, structure, chemical composition as well as the processing technology and usability was examined in both lithuanian and foreign literature. In the experimental part are provided the results of the tests on materials that were used in the manufacture of concrete mix by using existing standardized test methods. The part of sand was replaced with bottom ash and tests were made to determine its influence on concrete strength properties by comparing the obtained data with reference samples. After examining theoretical and experimental bottom ash capabilities as substitution of the sand, it can be said that the concrete product properties remain similar when compared to products without the ashes if a small part of sand is replaced. The higher percentage of sand is replaced the faster concrete properties deteriorate. Structure: introduction, theoretical and experimental part, conclusions and suggestions, references. Thesis consist of: 116 p. text without appendixes, 65 pictures, 35 tables, 63 bibliograph-ical entries.
