Nur 5 m schmal, aber 17,50 m lang ist das dreigeschossige Wohnhaus, das der Vorarlberger Architekt Sebastian Brandner für sich und seine vierköpfige Familie in Dornbirn errichtet hat. Der kompakte Baukörper setzt ein Ausrufezeichen in dem kleinen Wohnviertel, das zwischen Sportplätzen und einem großen Gewerbegebiet am äußersten nördlichen Stadtrand liegt.
The three-storey house that Vorarlberg architect Sebastian Brandner built for himself and his four-person family is only 5 metres wide but 17.50 metres long. The tall narrow building stands like an exclamation mark in a small residential district that lies between sports fields and a large industrial site on the city’s extreme northern edge.
