With a height of 135 metres, this high-rise administrative block by Jean Nouvel in the historic centre of Marseilles forms a colourful counterpart to the fully glazed 145-metre office tower by Zaha Hadid Architects on the skyline of the city. , , emarkable is not only the material used for the filigree facade elements, but also the way the coloration was applied. The prefabricated elements in ultra-high performance fibre-reinforced concrete were painted by hand prior to assembly. As many as six different shades of the colours of the French flag were applied to a single element.
