Das neue Theater der Region BioBío hat am Ufer des gleichnamigen Flusses im chilenischen Concepción seinen weithin sichtbaren Standort gefunden. In der von einem Erdbeben im Jahr 2010 stark zerstörten Stadt bildet der strahlend weiße Bau den Fokus eines neu geschaffenen öffentlichen Platzes und das kulturelle Zentrum der gesamten Region.
Clearly visible from a distance, the new theatre for the BioBío region stands near the bank of the river bearing the same name in Concepción, Chile. The city was severely damaged by an earthquake in 2010. The dazzling white building forms the focus of a newly created public square and is the cultural centre for the whole region.
