Die Stadt München hat für den Erwerb des fast 4000 m2 großen Grundstücks im Stadtteil Alt-Riem klare Bedingungen festgelegt: eine energetisch hochwertige Bauweise und günstige Quadratmeterpreise. Architekt Gernot Vallentin initiierte die Gründung der Baugemeinschaft Stadtnatur. Mit einem Konzept für eine kostengünstige, nachhaltige Wohnanlage im Passivhaus Plus-Standard erhielt die Baugemeinschaft, schließlich den Zuschlag.
A highly energy efficient construction type and advantageous prices per square metre were the preconditions set by the city of Munich for the purchase of the nearly 4000 m2 property in the quarter of Alt-Riem. Architect Gernot Vallentin initiated the founding of the joint building venture StadtNatur. Their concept for a cost-efficient and sustainable residential development matching the passive house plus standard was awarded the bid.
