OUTLINE OF METALLOGENESIS OF THE WEST CARPATHIANS
Metallogenesis of the West Carpathians appears to be polycyclic and polygenetic. Its characteristic feature is a superposition of younger mineralization acts on older ones. These processes in some places are accompanied by regenerations. A variability and multicyclic character of the metallogenesis accords with a permanent tectonical mobility of the area which was only interrupted by short episodes of relative stillness in its early Paleosoic to Quaternary development.
