Pengaruh Penggunaan Abu Sekam Padi terhadap Sifat Mekanik Beton Busa Ringan
Nowadays, global warming is a big issue for activist of environment. On construction, especially in building material, utilization of Portland cement on concrete material is one of contribution of global warming. Therefore, recently, many researchers of building material try to search material alternative to substitution cement Portland. Rice husk is one of agriculture product which was produced by rice, it can be found in tropic country such as Indonesia. Utilization of rice husk ash has been used a long time ago to substitute cement Portland on concrete. The aim of this research is to use rice husk ash on the lightweight foam concrete. Percentage of rice husk which used in this research are 0%, 10%, 15% and 20% of cement Portland (by weight). The test of characteristic of lightweight foam concrete in this research are the density test, compressive strength test and flexural strength test. The density is less than 700 kg/m3. The highest of compressive strength is 1.45 MPa on 15% and 20% rice husk ash. Then the highest of flexural strength is 0.76 MPa on 0% rice husk ash.
