Stability analysis of reinforced concrete prismatic shell structures
Stability analysis of prismatic reinforced concrete shells is presented in the paper. These structures are special shells for which both geometry and material properties can be considered as constant along the main direction, while only the loading distribution may vary. A semi-analytical harmonic coupled finite strip method (HCFSM) is used to solve the large deflection and post-buckling problems, or both actions simultaneously. This is particularly important for shells having large span-to-width ratios.
