STRESS STATE CALLED AS "BOUNDARY LAYER" IS BOUNDARY TORSION OF THE RECTANGULAR PLATE
Boundary value problem formulated for determining stress state of type "boundary layer" is identically to torsion deformation of edges, and its solution in a way bring to the Dirichlet's problem is given. As a result of calculations, the essential contribution of the boundary torsion stress-strain state to the general stress-strain state of a plate is shown, that is very important for the estimation of strength for various units in thin-walled elements of aircraft structures.
