Homes for homeless. Design guidelines for night shelters
According to United Nation human right council homeless people live in conditions of extreme poverty. Such condition can be considered as multidimensional, since it concerns issues as: health; job; social relationships. Furthermore, it damages the opportunity to “planning” their future and to enjoying their citizen rights. The Guidelines for night-shelters and emergency hostels are the outcome of a research project carried out for the City of Turin (I) in the 2016. The main purpose is to provide proper responses in order to build-up, renovate and managing the night shelters and other facilities available to them.
