La deterioración de las piedras de la Catedral de Oviedo. 1ª Parte: Petrografía y porosidad características intrínsecas determinantes de la deterioración de sus rocas carbonatadas
The petrographic parameters and the physical properties controlling the alteration of the monumental stones of the Cathedral of Oviedo (Spain) are analized in this first paper. A special emphasis is placed on the characterization of the porosity, on account of the role this plays in the development of the forms and phenomena of superficial alteration.
