Mineralogical peculiarites of emissions in the magnesite industry areas
The paper deals with the properties of dust outlets leaked from rotary and shaft furnaces in the magnesite industry. The dust outlets , caught in the dust collector with the efficiency of 98 % have been subjected to the grain size and chemical analysis as well as to the mineralogical study. The morphological properties were also observed with the aim to determine the influence of free dust particles on the magnesite plants surroundings, mainly on the soil. On the basis of the obtained results, the collected dusts can be considered to be a quality raw material.
