Change of the passengers on the intercity lines
Functioning of lines of the intercity public passenger transports based on the harmonization of transport requirements and organization within the individual departures, defined in space and time. An important feature of this harmonization is the change of passengers. Change of passengers as a significant impact on the economic factors of the functioning of the line, so its quantification is important. So far, in the literature in this field for the quantification of passenger changes and the definition of an appropriate coefficient, the approach that has been used does not produce accurate results. The paper presents a new procedure for defining the passenger change coefficient, and the results were verified on concrete examples.
