Face support pressure impact on the surface deformation during TBM tunneling
There is currently an intense infrastructure development in large cities. One of the most significant projects are the structures for transport purposes, which include the subway. Underground structures construction in conditions of dense urban area is associated with the solution of complex geotechnical problems, such as ensuring the safety of surface buildings and structures located in the work impact zone and work safety during tunneling. Determination of the required tunneling parameters in the design process must take into account the difficulties of geological conditions and possible inaccuracies in defining these conditions.
