La construcción escenográfica de la ciudad. Espacio público, turismo e itinerarios en Rosario (Argentina)
Urban planning is an hegemonic discourse in the process of production, reproduction and institutionalization of images of the city and its spatiality. In this article we are interested in establishing the way these discursive artifacts define public space, the way they represent its patterns, how do they imagine their addressees and which expectations rest on coastal areas of the city. The methodological approach combines the analysis of urban imageries through specific practices promoted over the city area along with a discursive analysis on prevailing signifiers at the documentary corpus which make evident the changes in strategic and urban planning in Rosario (Argentina).
