Por casi 100 años, el mineral El Teniente y el campamento Sewell han estado indisolublemente unidos, entre otros, por razones económicas, productivas, empresariales, laborales y demográficas, siendo un tema interesante de tratar para disciplinas como la Historiografía. Por lo tanto, la existencia de uno en función del otro, ha forjado una realidad que merece ser difundida./For almost one hundred years, the mining site El Teniente and the settlement Sewell have been closely related due to economic, productive, labor and demographic reasons among others. This is an interesting topic to be revised by disciplines such as Historiography. The interdependence between the two is a phenomenon that needs to be divulged.
