Underground gas storage in Slovakia has more than 25 years history. The oldest part of equipments for the underground reservoir needs an overhaul and maintance today. The maintance process uncovera a lot of problems, created in the building process. Serious problems are uncovered in the area of the pipeline system diagnostics. In the past, the maintenance operators faced difficult decisions, i.e. to choose the best method or combination of methods to evaluate pipeline conditions.
