Infrastructures and Tourism for the Rediscovery of the Ancient Porto di Classe
Following a thorough analysis of the interior region of Ravenna and its touristic possibilities, the project proposes to create a new attraction, which can be identified as true to its local territorial system of excellence, inside of which are enclosed in several proposals, each aimed at a different target. The site chosen for this project is the area adjacent to the Archaeological Park of the ancient “Porto di Classe”, to locate a new museum, which not only offers the possibility to “observe” but also to live the landscape experiences, flanked by a series of large-scale interventions such as the creation of new railway stations and improved cycling route, making it possible to experience the region in all its richness.
