Recents juridical developments point to a new form of environmental governance, based on the largest access to environmental information. After a study of the main rules concerning that question in Quebec, the autor demonstrates that those rules don’t respect new requirements implied by sustainable development and the affirmation of individual’s right to an healthy environment. A strong reform is necessary.
